Amex SmartEarn gives one ₹500 brand voucher when eligible net card spending reaches ₹1.20 lakh in the cardmembership year, another at ₹1.80 lakh and another at ₹2.40 lakh. Model assumes one eligible purchase of the selected amount each month for a full cardmembership year; ₹10,000, ₹15,000 and ₹20,000 monthly respectively cross those annual thresholds. Vouchers require a valid account, code redemption within 180 days, and use with participating brands, including Amazon or Flipkart. The card earns 1 Membership Rewards point per ₹50 on eligible spend, with merchant-specific accelerators and caps, but its usable point value for SmartEarn has not been verified and is not added. Fuel, insurance and household utilities earn no Membership Rewards points; this model does not judge whether those spends count toward the voucher threshold, so these chips get no positive result. A merchant-code or special payment route not verified likewise scores zero. The voucher terms exclude fees and charges from qualifying spend and count net spend after reversals; this model does not assume returns, reversals or other spending.
