Only the dedicated UPI chip is scored. The issuer offers 1% direct cashback for domestic merchant UPI transactions of at least ₹200 when the acquiring merchant MCC is departmental store, grocery/supermarket, restaurant/eating place or pharmacy. Cashback is capped at ₹100 across eligible spending per statement cycle. The input assumes one qualifying merchant payment per month, no other spend using up the same cap and actual UPI routing on this virtual RuPay card. Ordinary online card purchases and POS swipes are not assigned cashback in this model. It is lifetime free according to the issuer, but available only to a selected existing AU credit-card customer base. The existing primary card may have its own fee; that cost is not included. This is not a generic 1% cashback on every UPI purchase.
