Conservative Kiwi-app merchant Scan & Pay model for a new AU KOSMO card issued through Kiwi, with no optional paid membership. AU says the card is lifetime free and Kiwi rewards accrue on eligible UPI Scan & Pay and some other card purchases. Kiwi offers 1.5% on non-Neon Scan & Pay for cards issued after 4 July 2024, as 6 Kiwis per complete ₹100. Yet Kiwi caps monthly cashback at 1% of the card credit limit. Because this calculator does not know that limit, it scores only 4 Kiwis per complete ₹100 (1%) as a guaranteed lower bound when the single purchase itself fits the credit limit; actual 1.5% can exceed this. Kiwi currently redeems 1 Kiwi for ₹0.25 into a linked goaxb UPI account, minimum 500 Kiwis and in 500-Kiwi blocks. One qualifying purchase per month is assumed; only complete blocks attainable in the one-year projection count. Online card earn and paid membership boosts are not included. Kiwi excludes listed fuel, auto, utilities, taxes, education, rent, insurance, gift-card and other MCCs. The generic merchant UPI chip cannot prove the MCC on a specific merchant; verify it and use the Kiwi app. No value is assigned to the unrelated AU InstaPay chip.
