How this estimate works

AU LIT is a lifetime-free, customizable credit card. Its issuer LIT terms, last updated January 15, 2025, establish a free baseline of 1 AU reward point per complete ₹100 of eligible ordinary retail purchase, online or in store, and a 10,000-point cap per statement cycle. This model assumes zero paid features and scores one ordinary eligible domestic card purchase per month at the baseline only. The optional 5X/10X reward or cashback features cost extra, last 90 days and can renew automatically; their rates are not assumed or charged, and using a paid feature can change the comparison. Rent, fuel, cash, education and government, EMI, BBPS and quasi-cash are excluded; utilities, telecom and insurance have specific terms and are not modeled under the general rate. Special merchant or transport routes are left unestimated. The issuer says e-voucher redemptions are worth ₹0.20 per point and require at least 200 points to redeem; one ₹99+GST redemption fee is deducted from annual returns when annual points reach 200. An eligible e-voucher must actually be available, and points are not statement cashback; unredeemed points expire after two years. Paid feature fees, promotional bonuses, lounge, cashback and surcharges are excluded. Feature users should compare their subscribed feature terms and renewal cost separately.
