AU lists 3 points per complete ₹100 on ordinary online and offline retail; 15 per ₹100 on selected dining, movies, grocery and department-store merchant codes, and 1 per ₹100 on insurance/utility categories. The calculator conservatively models only ordinary eligible retail at 3 per ₹100, without assuming the 15-point merchant-code tier, first-to-fifth-of-month double points or fuel surcharge waiver. One eligible transaction per month is assumed; smaller remainders within a transaction do not earn. AU states reward points have ₹0.20 per point e-voucher redemption, while other redemption categories are listed at a higher value; this model uses only the issuer-backed e-voucher route. At least 200 points are needed to redeem, points expire in two years, and one annual ₹99+GST redemption charge is deducted if the annual earnings clear the threshold. Issuer member terms cap Xcite points at 25,000 per statement cycle. Rent, education/government, EMI, fuel, cash, quasi-cash and BBPS earn no points. Transportation merchant codes stopped earning April 1, 2026. Utility/insurance and ambiguous special merchant routes are left unestimated rather than given the standard retail rate. ₹249+GST annual fee is deducted in the card ranking; the renewal waiver at ₹1 lakh previous-year retail spend is not assumed. Voucher inventory and value must be checked before redeeming; this is not statement cashback.
