Why rewards are not scored yet

The current issuer credit-card catalogue lists eight names under International after expanding Show More, and Master India Domestic under Domestic. The named Select page publishes 2X loyalty reward points on POS and e-commerce, excluding restricted categories. The issuer Star Rewards page publishes credit-card earning structures effective 1 September 2025, including standard/preferred categories and card-wise bonuses. It states a 10,000-point monthly cap per customer ID/CIF and excludes credit-card UPI transactions of ₹2,000 or less. It also says all POS/e-commerce exclusions were removed from 1 September 2025, conflicting with the named Select page's restricted-category wording. That issuer conflict is not silently reconciled. It describes merchandise, travel and gift-voucher redemption. We have not verified a complete variant-bound cash redemption value and full category/cap rules, so points, vouchers, lounge access, insurance, subscriptions and other perks are unpriced, not absent.

Swadhan: separately documented, not a catalogue inference

The named issuer Swadhan RuPay Platinum page states that this card is issued against a Term Deposit Receipt (TDR) only. Its Charges tab lists NIL issuance, principal and add-on Annual Maintenance Charges, and replacement charges. Other transaction and service charges may apply; this is not a claim that every service is free. The Features tab publishes 2X reward points on POS and e-commerce transactions, excluding blocked categories, but no cash conversion or complete current reward rules are imported. The expanded live catalogue still shows nine names and does not list Swadhan. This separately documented product is not a tenth current-catalogue entry, a generic RuPay Platinum alias, or a guarantee of approval or open applications. It remains directory-only, with rewards and other perks unpriced, not absent. A challenged MITC response is not used as fee proof.

Scope and freshness

Checked 2 October 2026. This is a verified catalogue snapshot, not a guarantee of approval, availability or unchanged terms. Swadhan RuPay Platinum is included above only as a separately documented TDR-backed product, not as a tenth current-catalogue entry. No Swadhan or co-brand terms are merged into the other listed variants. Benefits, fees and redemption rules should be checked for the actual issued card.
