South Indian Bank credit cards

Four catalogue-verified names. Additional coverage outside the frozen 401-name audit; one checked limited floor and 3 unscored names.

South Indian Bank SimplySAVE SBI Card has one distinct issuer-bound limited statement-credit floor. Platinum and both One names remain directory-only. No generic SBI or OneCard alias is imported.

Old earn-rate copy is not a current model

The older SBI SimplySAVE brochure states rewards per ₹100 and advertises up to 2.5% value back. SBI Card's customer notice explicitly changes South Indian Bank SimplySAVE SBI Card rewards to 1 point per ₹150, with 10 points per ₹150 in accelerated categories, from 1 March 2022. We disclose that mismatch and do not import the older rate or its example savings. A PRIME name found in a legacy notice is not counted as an additional current catalogue product.

Why benefits remain unpriced

The bank catalogue identifies the secured and unsecured One co-brands separately, alongside two SBI co-brands. Shared partner branding is not enough to copy another bank's model or merge names. Full current named-card caps, cash conversion, redemption costs, fees and eligibility must be bound before scoring. Points, fuel relief, welcome gifts, milestones and fee waivers are unpriced, not absent. The separately checked SimplySAVE floor below binds those rules only for that named card; the other three names remain unscored.

SIB Rewardz explicitly describes a debit-card reward program. Its earn rates, point spending rules and cash-value implications are not used for these credit cards.

SIB SimplySAVE: named statement-credit floor

The individually named issuer SimplySAVE booklet binds 10 points per complete ₹150 on eligible dining MCCs 5812, 5813 or 5814 and grocery MCC 5411, shared with departmental stores and movies under a 5,000-point calendar-month accelerated cap, then one point per ₹150. The named Cash Points FAQ says 2,000 points pay ₹500 of outstanding card bills (₹0.25 per point). Its old 2,000-point minimum is superseded by April 2026 statement-credit multiples of 4,000 points and a 60,000-point monthly limit under current Shop & Smile rules. The floor accumulates twelve eligible monthly purchases and one annual request limited to 60,000 points, deducting one ₹99 plus GST charge only when redeemable. Residual points have zero modeled value and expire after 24 months. The annual ₹499 plus GST fee is deducted without renewal-waiver assumptions. Identifiable eligible retail earns conservative base points; delivery names do not prove dining MCC. UPI, fuel, utility, LIC, unknown and portal routes are unpriced. Welcome, movie, lounge, fuel relief and waiver perks are unpriced, not absent. Network remains unspecified. All four catalogue names and prior old-rate mismatch, legacy PRIME exclusion, debit-only Rewardz and secured-versus-unsecured account caveats remain above. This limited floor is not a full card valuation or a promise of current applications.
