HDFC Bank Diners Club Premium Credit Card
4 points/₹200 eligible retail, valued for SmartBuy travel; existing holders only.

HDFC says sourcing of Diners Club Premium has stopped; this model is for existing holders only. The issuer’s 15 May 2026 notice and current product page list 4 points per complete ₹200 eligible retail spend, superseding the former ₹150 increment. Each point is valued at ₹0.50 for SmartBuy flights/hotels, with up to 70% of booking paid using points and 50,000 earned points per statement cycle. The estimate assumes one qualifying purchase each month and enough future eligible travel. It deducts ₹99 plus estimated GST per needed redemption, estimating requests in batches of up to 50,000 points; this batching is a modeling assumption, not a published Premium redemption cap. Grocery spending is not projected because a Premium-specific grocery cap was not verified. Fuel, rent, government, EMI, wallet, utility and special merchant/payment routes are conservatively excluded or not projected. The existing-card option shows this model and a separate ignore-fee option omits renewal costs only if chosen. An existing holder may still owe ₹2,500 plus GST renewal absent a ₹3 lakh prior-year spend waiver. Activation points, lounges, fuel-surcharge waiver and fee waiver are unvalued. This is travel-use value, not cash.
