Pine Labs HDFC Bank Credit Card
5% direct utility cashback up to ₹250/month; card sourcing stopped.
Try your spend →How this estimate works
HDFC says it has stopped sourcing the Pine Labs card, so this scored model is for existing holders only. The card is offered to Pine Labs merchants. Its issuer page and card FAQ say qualifying utility, telecom, government and tax payments earn 5% direct cashback up to ₹250/month. The calculator uses only the Utilities chip and assumes one qualifying payment monthly. It assigns no cashback above ₹50,000 monthly utility spend because HDFC may charge a 1% fee on total utility spend beyond that threshold. It does not project government and tax transactions because current fees and rules may reduce net return. The calculator displays this card only when "I already own a card" is checked. The separate ignore-fee checkbox omits renewal costs only if chosen; existing holders may still owe the ₹499 plus GST renewal fee unless they qualify for a ₹50,000 non-EMI annual-spend waiver. The issuer also lists four points/₹150 for e-commerce and two points/₹150 for POS purchases, redeemable at ₹0.20 each after 2,500 points with a redemption fee, but those routes are omitted rather than mixed with direct cashback. The 2022 launch cashback and supplier-payment offer have expired and are not counted. This is not a recommendation to apply for a discontinued card.
