How this estimate works

For Indian Defence personnel only. Fuel surcharge relief, not cashback or a reward-points estimate. The current named Parakram page states nil joining and annual fees and 1% fuel surcharge waiver at all fuel stations. The base card-specific terms updated 25 May 2026 limit this to ₹400–₹4,000 per transaction, with a ₹250 monthly waiver cap; these base-card-specific terms control the estimate. The calculator assumes one eligible offline pump purchase of the entered principal amount per month, repeated for twelve months; amounts below ₹400 or above ₹4,000 are not priced. The current MITC limits surcharge-waiver eligibility to ₹50,000 of fuel spend per statement cycle, which cannot bind the one-purchase model. It is relief against an actual surcharge, not cash earned on the fuel itself. Actual surcharge posting and taxes can differ; no GST refund is assumed. Ordinary reward points, accelerated grocery/CSD points, lounge access, golf and insurance are omitted, not absent. No rupee value for Parakram reward points is invented. Verify your eligibility and actual surcharge posting. This is a limited fuel-only floor, not the full card value.

The transaction range matters

One eligible ₹1,000 offline pump purchase per month gives ₹10 monthly surcharge relief, or ₹120 over twelve months, with no annual fee. One ₹4,000 purchase per month gives ₹40 monthly relief, or ₹480 a year. ₹399 and ₹4,001 are outside the card-specific ₹400–₹4,000 range. The ₹250 monthly waiver cap cannot bind a single purchase of at most ₹4,000. These figures assume an actual 1% surcharge eligible for reversal, not free cash from fuel purchases. Eligibility is restricted to Defence personnel.
