Nil-fee cohort only · HPCL surcharge relief: 1% on ₹400–₹4,000 at ICICI Merchant Services terminals. Default checkbox off = zero relief. Legacy ₹99 + GST fee may apply.
Try your spend →How this estimate works
Conditional HPCL fuel-surcharge-only floor, not cashback or reward points. Current advertised nil-joining/annual-fee cohort only. The issuer MITC preserves ₹99 joining/annual fees plus applicable GST for legacy Platinum Chip cards where communicated at sourcing. Check your own fee; legacy fee-bearing holders must not treat this nil-fee estimate as their net return. Only one eligible offline HPCL purchase per month on an ICICI Merchant Services terminal is priced. The card-specific checkbox is off by default: no relief is estimated until you confirm that terminal condition. Named card page states 1% waiver on ₹400–₹4,000 HPCL transactions; current MITC specifies the ICICI Merchant Services swipe machine and ₹50,000 eligible fuel-spend ceiling per statement cycle. The ceiling cannot bind one eligible purchase up to ₹4,000. Twelve identical monthly purchases are modeled. Surcharge relief depends on actual posting; no GST reversal is assumed. Other/unknown pumps, unconfirmed terminals and online purchases give no relief. Ordinary points, movies and other perks remain unpriced, not absent; no point conversion or waived legacy fee is invented.
The terminal and your fee matter
Confirm the ICICI Merchant Services terminal at HPCL checkbox only when the payment qualifies. One eligible ₹1,000 purchase each month then gives ₹10 monthly surcharge relief, or ₹120 over twelve months; ₹4,000 gives ₹480 a year. ₹399 and ₹4,001 are outside the transaction range. With the checkbox off, or at another pump/terminal, no relief is estimated. Nil joining/annual fees apply to the current advertised cohort only. The current MITC says legacy ₹99 joining/annual charges continue when stated at sourcing. Those holders must subtract their actual fee and GST instead of relying on this nil-fee net estimate.
