IDFC FIRST Business Multiplier Credit Card
10 points per ₹200 on first ₹1 lakh eligible monthly spend, 5 thereafter; ₹1,000 + GST yearly, waiver conditional.
Try your spend →How this estimate works
The issuer’s card page lists 10 reward points per ₹200 for transactions up to ₹1 lakh a month, then 5 per ₹200 above that level, each worth ₹0.25. For one eligible domestic card purchase per month, the calculator applies a whole-₹200 rounding threshold, a ₹1 lakh monthly tier, repeats the result for 12 months, and deducts one ₹99 + estimated 18% GST redemption handling fee if annual points are worth more than that fee. The ₹1,000 plus GST annual card fee is deducted separately in the year-two ROI ranking; an additional ₹1,000 plus GST joining fee applies in the first year and is not modeled as an extra year-two cost. The annual renewal fee may be waived on ₹5 lakh eligible yearly spending, but the model does not assume that waiver: other eligible card use and different qualification rules can change it. Fuel, utility, rent/property management, insurance, EMI, cash and international/forex spend do not earn points according to the issuer FAQ. UPI via the complimentary FIRST Digital card earns a different and sometimes “up to” rate; this model does not attribute 10 points to UPI. Generic Tata and ambiguous transaction routes are left unscored. The card is for GST-registered businesses and requires a minimum ₹50,000 pledged fixed deposit; that deposit affects credit limit and carries liquidity/opportunity cost omitted here. Bank-app travel bonuses, lounge benefits and add-on card fees also are not valued. The issuer’s product FAQ says points do not expire, while program-wide changes can alter terms; confirm against your actual issued-card offer. Reward rates are per statement cycle, which may not exactly match a calendar month.
