How this estimate works

The Gaj card-specific issuer terms give 5 points per full ₹150 of eligible domestic purchase and 3 points/₹150 internationally. This estimate uses one ordinary domestic card purchase per month, not UPI or travel portal, at ₹0.25/point for gift vouchers, products or select online pay-with-points. The higher ₹1/point value needs issuer-app flight/hotel booking and is not assumed. One ₹99+estimated GST reward-redemption charge is deducted if annual points justify it; each extra redemption adds a charge. Gaj is invite-only. It has ₹12,500+GST joining and ₹12,500+GST ongoing annual fee, waived at ₹10 lakh of annual spend; the ongoing fee is deducted without assuming waiver, and the one-time joining fee is excluded. Fuel, EMI, cash, fees and transactions under ₹150 earn zero. Insurance, utilities, rent, government, wallet, railway, FASTag and education earn a lower 1 point/₹150, and special payment routes are withheld in this general model. Rewards stop above the approved credit limit per billing cycle and require minimum due payment. App travel points, annual-fee payment benefit, optional UPI card and non-financial perks are omitted.
