The issuer’s Celesta rewards page states one point per full ₹100 eligible domestic spend and ₹0.75/point cash-credit conversion; international transactions earn separately and are not modeled. The estimator repeats one entered ordinary domestic purchase each month for 12 months. The current product-specific rewards page caps cash redemption at 10,000 points/month with a 500-point minimum; the bank’s April 2025 program update further limits each cash claim to 50% of the points balance. This score assumes one cash claim at year end limited by half the modeled annual balance and the monthly cap, deducting one ₹149+GST cash redemption fee. Leftover points are not priced as usable one-year cash, although later claims could add value. The current issuer MITC lists ₹25,000 joining fee and ₹5,000 recurring annual fee: the ranking deducts ₹5,000 plus estimated GST but excludes first-year joining, which makes first-year ROI much worse. Fuel, utilities, insurance, government, education, rent and uncertain special merchant routes are not scored; the bank separately reduces earning in specified categories and limits points by credit limit per billing cycle. Overseas reward rates, milestone, golf, lounge and other perks are omitted. Confirm current statement and redemption eligibility before relying on the estimate.
