How this estimate works

The issuer awards 12 Smiles per complete ₹100 at participating Jio-bp fuel, EV charging and other Jio-bp outlets, with a 1,200-Smiles statement-cycle cap on Jio-bp earn. Jio-bp values 1 Smile at ₹0.25 toward later purchases in its ecosystem, giving 3% usable Jio-bp value before other charges. This is not statement cash. The calculator assumes one eligible outlet purchase per month and prices only base Smiles up to that cap. The issuer gives 5 Smiles per ₹100 (1.25% Jio-bp value) at eligible dining, supermarket and grocery merchants, and 2 per ₹100 (0.5%) on other eligible card spend. Its merchant codes and participating outlet list matter: generic fuel, other oil brands, utilities, insurance, government and rent are not valued. The special Jio-bp chip means a participating outlet, not any fuel station. A 200-Smiles monthly Jio-bp ₹4,000 milestone, 4,000-Smiles annual card-spend milestone, first-use bonuses and surcharge waiver are excluded: the chip does not verify other transactions, statement timing or all conditions. The current premium MITC lists ₹499 joining fee, conditionally waived on ₹10,000 spend in the first 90 days, and nil recurring annual fee; this recurring ROI therefore deducts no card fee and does not include first-year joining fee. Smiles expire after 36 months under Jio-bp 4ever terms. Actual acceptance, redemption and optional fees should be checked at the outlet and in the final application offer.
