The issuer states that this government-sector-employee RuPay card credits 1% of eligible retail spend, up to ₹20,000 spend or ₹200 cashback each statement cycle, to the next card statement. The current MITC lists nil joining and ₹199 annual fee plus tax, with an annual waiver for ₹75,000 or more spent in the previous anniversary year; the model subtracts the annual fee and indicative 18% GST and does not assume the waiver. Generic fuel, HPCL, BPCL, utilities, Tata brands, auto and travel are conservatively zero because merchant code, surcharge, or fee treatment is unresolved. Other spend categories are estimates for eligible retail only; the same-cycle cap can be used by spending not entered here. Movie tickets and fuel/rail surcharge waivers are omitted. The card is restricted to eligible government-sector employees, and the exact fee and eligibility should be checked before applying.
