Kotak BIZ earns 1 point per complete ₹100 on eligible ordinary purchases. It offers 4 points per ₹100 for specific travel and tour operators, domestic airlines, marketing and advertising, supermarkets and hotel MCCs. The calculator conservatively assigns only 1 point on every supported ordinary chip: a generic grocery or travel selection does not verify those exact merchant codes. Kotak revised statement cashback value to ₹0.20 per point from June 2025 and requires at least 2,000 points to redeem; vouchers and other rewards may give ₹0.25, not assumed. Twelve identical monthly purchases producing fewer than 2,000 points show zero usable one-year statement value, but this does not mean points expire or cannot be redeemed later. Wallet loading, fuel, rent and online skill gaming earn no points. Utilities, insurance, education, government and railway have category/cycle restrictions, so their generic routes are not modeled. The issuer lists ₹299 joining and ₹499 annual fees with no waiver; this recurring-year comparison deducts ₹499 plus estimated GST and omits the separate first-year joining cost. Check merchant codes, point availability and redemption before choosing.
