Kotak Royale Signature gives 2 reward points per complete ₹150 on eligible ordinary purchases and 4 points on hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, tour operators, airlines and international transactions. This model applies 4 only to generic restaurant and travel chips, where the actual merchant category must be verified; other eligible categories receive the 2-point base rate. Kotak lists ₹0.20 per point statement cashback value and a 2,000-point redemption minimum since June 2025. Twelve equal monthly transactions yielding fewer than 2,000 points show zero usable one-year statement value, but points may be used in later years or for other rewards. Vouchers and shopping may yield ₹0.25 per point, not assumed. Fuel, wallet loads, rent and online skill gaming no longer earn points. Education, insurance, utilities and government have statement-cycle caps, so their generic route is not scored without category and cycle information. Annual ₹999 fee is waived at ₹1 lakh annual retail spend; this comparison conservatively deducts ₹999 plus estimated GST. Its separate ₹1,499 joining fee is not in this recurring-year view, and 4/8-lakh annual milestone bonus points, lounge value and surcharge waiver are omitted.
