Kotak White Signature awards milestone White Pass value on settled qualifying card-anniversary-year spending: ₹2,000 after ₹2 lakh, another ₹4,000 after ₹4 lakh, ₹6,000 after ₹6 lakh, ₹7,000 after ₹9 lakh and ₹8,000 after ₹12 lakh, capped at ₹27,000 cumulative each year. One White Pass can be worth ₹1 in the issuer catalogue, but only ₹0.70 as cashback; the model uses the lower cash value. It projects twelve identical monthly eligible retail transactions, selects only the highest attained annual milestone, then divides annual cash value by twelve. A spend below ₹2 lakh in this scenario gets no partial milestone. Kotak excludes or caps special merchant categories in its milestone terms; the April 2026 update excludes education and transportation. Fuel, wallet, rent, insurance, utility, government, rail and specialized routes are not scored here; actual merchant codes and other spending can change milestone eligibility. Kotak lists ₹3,000 plus GST joining and annual fees; annual is waived at ₹5 lakh retail spend. This recurring-year estimate deducts one annual fee with estimated GST without assuming waiver, while first-year joining fee and a ₹1,500 conditional welcome White Pass are omitted.
