How this estimate works

RBL World Safari Plus terms set 5 points per complete ₹100 on flights, hotels and transport purchased through the RBL Rewards portal, 2 points per ₹100 on other eligible domestic travel and 1 per ₹100 on other eligible domestic retail purchases. The issuer product page states ₹1 per point toward portal flight and hotel bookings, or ₹0.10 on other redemptions. This model uses the flight/hotel redemption route only, so its rupee amount is future restricted travel value, not cash. It assumes one qualifying settled purchase each month. RBL charges ₹99 plus GST for a redemption; one annual fee is deducted from point value, and the card’s ₹6,000 annual fee plus estimated GST is deducted from net return. Flights redeemed through the portal carry a further ₹200 inclusive-of-GST convenience fee; portal booking prices, availability and any other convenience fees are not included, so actual value can be lower. Fuel/auto, utilities, insurance, wallet, railways, rental and miscellaneous MCCs are excluded under issuer terms. Welcome points, conditional milestones, lounge visits, merchant discounts and zero-forex savings are omitted.
