BPCL SBI Card OCTANE earns 25 points per ₹100 at eligible BPCL pumps, up to 2,500 points per billing cycle. Merchant IDs must be on the bank’s updated list. Eligible dining and grocery earn 10 points/₹100, up to 7,500 category points/month, while other eligible non-fuel retail earns one point/₹100. Non-BPCL fuel and wallet loads excluded. Four points = ₹1 of fuel redeemable at select BPCL pumps; this is conditional fuel value, not statement cash. The model assumes one eligible purchase each month and subtracts one ₹99+GST annual redemption charge conservatively because instant-fuel fee exemption is not confirmed. The fuel surcharge waiver up to ₹100/cycle for purchases ≤₹4,000, joining bonus, Bharat Gas app spend, lounge visits and milestones are omitted. The issuer publishes ₹1,499+GST joining and renewal fees, with the renewal fee reversed after ₹2 lakh prior-year spend; the calculator deducts one annual fee and does not assume a waiver. Generic Fuel and HPCL chips do not establish BPCL pump eligibility.
