How this estimate works

SBI Card PRIME earns 10 points per ₹100 in eligible dining, grocery, departmental-store and movie merchant categories, with the accelerated category earning capped at 7,500 points per month before the base rate of 2 points per ₹100 applies. Other eligible retail earns 2 points per ₹100. This model values four points at ₹1 statement credit, counts only full 4,000-point annual redemption blocks under the April 2026 rule and limits a redemption to 60,000 points per calendar month. It subtracts ₹99 plus estimated GST per required redemption request and the ₹2,999 plus estimated GST annual card fee. The model assumes one qualifying purchase monthly, cap not taken by other spend and enough time to redeem; points expire after 24 months. Fuel, rent, government, wallet, utility and delivery/special merchant chips are excluded or not projected because merchant coding and fees are uncertain. The joining gift, milestone vouchers, birthday/standing-instruction rates, lounges and conditional renewal waiver are omitted. Actual merchant codes and reward posting can change the estimate.
