How this estimate works

SBI Card PULSE earns 10 points per ₹100 on issuer-defined chemist, pharmacy, dining and movie purchases, and 2 points per ₹100 on other eligible retail. The calculator uses the dining chip for the 10-point rate and ordinary retail chips for 2 points; it does not silently apply a pharmacy rate to generic groceries or a movie rate to another card’s offer chip. Point posting depends on MCC. Current issuer sources do not list a PULSE-specific accelerated earning cap, so no earn cap is assumed; other SBI card caps do not automatically transfer. For a one-purchase-per-month spend repeated for a year, it values only full 4,000-point statement-credit blocks at 4 points=₹1, with a 60,000-point per-card calendar-month redemption limit from April 2026. The estimate assumes enough future months to redeem accumulated annual points, up to 720,000 points in twelve months, and deducts one ₹99+estimated GST redemption fee per necessary request, batching up to 60,000 points/request as a modeling assumption. ₹1,499+estimated GST annual fee is deducted; conditional ₹2 lakh renewal waiver, welcome smartwatch, memberships and ₹4 lakh milestone voucher are omitted. Fuel, utility, rent, government, wallet and special merchants or payment routes are excluded or unverified; exact MCCs and future issuer changes matter.
