SimplySAVE earns 10 Reward Points per ₹150 on MCC-coded dining, grocery, departmental-store and movie spend, with a combined 5,000-point monthly cap across the accelerated categories; beyond the cap, eligible spend earns one point per ₹150. Other eligible retail earns one point per ₹150. The calculator assumes one eligible purchase each month and one category is all you spend on the card. It cannot establish a food-delivery MCC, so delivery apps receive only the base estimate; generic utility, Tata, fuel and HPCL categories receive no estimated value when coding, route or fees are unknown. Four points redeem for ₹1 toward the card balance. Since 1 April 2026, SBI requires statement-credit redemption in multiples of 4,000 points and caps redemption at 60,000 points a month. The model projects one year of points, counts only full redeemable 4,000-point blocks, and deducts one ₹99+GST redemption fee if a redemption is possible. Smaller annual point balances show zero cash value; points may carry forward but expire after 24 months. ₹499+GST joining fee is charged in year one and ₹499+GST renewal from year two, waived on prior-year ₹1 lakh spend; the calculator deducts one annual charge without assuming renewal waiver. First-year welcome bonus, fuel surcharge waiver and non-cash vouchers are not included. Fuel, cash withdrawals, wallet loads, EMI, fees and certain rent/government transactions are excluded by issuer rules. Merchant category, settlement timing and eligibility may change the actual award.
